关于这个问题，我想看问题要看关键。这四个词组关键词之一是no=not any, not a。也就是说no less than=not any less than, 就是不比什么少很多的意思，所以查字典有“竟然”的意思。表示比预想的要多，本以为是很少的。同理可证，no more than=not any more than, 本以为很多，结果比预想的要少，所以翻译成“仅仅”。至于剩下的两个，就是正常了，也没有感情色彩了。
个人意见,补充一下 1 no more than 仅仅是,例如: It is no more than empty talk. not more than 谨记:这里的not是不的意思,是完全否定.more than 是多于,not more than 就是不多于,就是小于等于,所以是至多的意思. 2 no less than 是简直是,例如:what he did was no less than a miracle. not less than ,同not more than 一样,完全否定,至少的意思
