求大神分析一下这道题的解题思路以及C,D为什么不对,

以前老师总是说题目给你的话就一定是有用的.
从第一句话分析,“how is your project?”中“is”是现在时,说明设计才开始的,同时后面“last Friday”上周五才开始,说明是想了解现在计划的进度.所以C中“had prepared”过去完成时,用于在有明确的过去时间前已经完成的事情,与第一句不符.而D用的是过去进行时,过去进行时表示过去特定的时间正在发生的事情,题中并没有这样的语境吧!
