2,第二个空是直接用一般将来时还是用进行时表示将来? 为什么?

翻译：哦,你兄/弟已经到了.我（当初/过去还）以为他要到明天才能来呢.
1.此题当然是过去想.
因为前句已经表明了现在的情况是“他已经到了”,所以“我现在不会再这么想了”,所以这个I think应该是过去的想法,排除AD.
2.如果主句为一般过去时,则宾语从句除了一些表示客观真理/名言警句的句子外,其时态应该和主句时态保持一致,所以用（过去进行时was coming表示）过去将来时更好.
