Nowadays the competition is going to be more and more sharp,the requirements for job is also going to more and more high,if you just have low diploma,you will always lose the first chance to interview,so many persons study hard only in order to get a college diploma,after they achieve,they will relax themselves.Nevertheless,they don’t know this is just a part of job requirements.
Knowledge is power,as long as you have enough knowledge to reply job questions,then always the job will belong to you,so we should be cool-headed and make good use of our school time to study,keep the word “No pain,no gain” in our brain to remind ourselves.

My College Life
How time flies! It has been two years since I came to XXX College. In the two years, many things have happened. I also meet a lot of friends here.
Two years is not too long for man's life. But the two years I lived on campus has changed me a lot. For example, from the day I was born to the day I went to school, I had never left home alone for a long time and do housework by myself. How to deal with my roommates and classmates? These questions were all difficult for me to work out at that time. Today I get on well with them and do everything in life calmly. But all these changes were not easy for me. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I meet a lot of good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. I find words cannot express my sincere thanks to them. When they need help, I will do everything I can to help those who helped me before.
I'll have another two years in college,which I will treasure with my friends.
Everything in college will be my great memory in my life for ever.

The four years at college is of great importance in our life .During the four years ,we enrich our knowledge and ability , enjoy the best period of a young person’s life ,and it becomes a blueprint for our future .

It goes without saying that what is most important for student to do at college is to study all the subjects as well as possible .The teaching and studying methods at college are quite different those at middle school .We should not rely merely on the teachers and what is dealt with in class .Textbooks are not enough .We should read other books ,journals ,magazines and reference materials as much as possible .The college is a miniature society .So we take an active part in various activities at college to practice and improve our ability .Only in this way ,can we get used to the real society after graduation .

As a matter of fact ,life at college is not so dull as some people think .It is not like some thick book with a lot of bookworms struggling in it .We students enjoy a colorful life for young people .In addition to our studies ,we have many other interesting activities .In the morning and in the afternoon the sports ground is full of students doing exercises ,playing basketball ,football ,volleyball ,tennis and other games .Lectures on interesting topics are available for students of different tastes :music ,painting ,popular films ,literature ,current word affairs ,latest advances in science and technology ,and so on .In the evening ,you can see students in twos and threes walking on the campus .They talk and laugh and discuss many things of common interests .On weekends ,we have dancing parties ,watch TV programs and films ,or go shopping .

One of the topics that is most frequently talked about is the future---what we are going to do after graduation .Therefore ,many students attach importance to their future ,and they have begun to center their studies and activities round it ,for example ,some students want to become teachers after graduation .Therefore they join the school drama troupe ,for to be a good teacher ,you need the gifts of a good actor ,and you must have a good ,strong ,pleasing voice .

After the four years at college ,we hope to be useful to society .we are knowledgeable ,full of energy and well prepared to do different jobs .We are ready to contribute ourselves to the people ,to the society and to the modernization of our motherland .

A Letter To My Mother----Gift for Mother’s Day
Dear Mum,
I write today to tell you that I love you and you are the most respectable woman in my whole life.
Mum, do you remember that afternoon in 1980s? After enduring several hours’ suffering you bought me to this world. It’s said that a woman is half dead in the course of childbirth. But for you, must be far more than that because you are disabled with a poor health. Thank goodness, we both survived.
Mum, since the moment you called me son, you have been taking the responsibility of a mother. And all in your life till now, you have been loving me heart and soul, keeping me safe from harm though you are not strong enough yourself. People all said you spoiled me too much (I am afraid so). And every time when they spoke ironically:“ Only you have a son, don’t you?” Your reply was always like this:“ Yes, I do.” Proudly as you replied.
Mum, in my memory both dad and you seldom beat me up because you don’t think that it is a good way to educate. However, there is one I never forget. It was a summer afternoon. When you came home as usual and found me playing with some kids near the well. You yelled at me and forced me back home. I didn’t think I would get a thrash but I was wrong that time. You whipped me hard with your knitting needles in spite of my begging cry. But after that, you cried with me and told me that how you cared for me because you were afraid that I would drown in the well. So from then on I dare not to play near the well and the like any more. Not because I am afraid of being thrashed but because I am afraid of your tears. Mum, I mention this doesn’t mean I have a grudge against you. Oppositely, I am thankful because you let me know how great a mother’s love is. Thank you, mum.
There are still so many things I want to tell you mum, but I’d like talk with you when I am back home. Mum, tomorrow is Mother’s Day. Here I wish you a good health and happiness of your life.

P.S.This letter was an assignment for my writing course in college. I didn’t really send it to my mum because that is not my way to express love like this. But I want to share it with you this time and remind you guys who are reading this that love is not only a word or a bunch of carnation can work. It needs, in the rest of their life, more understanding and care. The Mother’s Day is coming two days later, here I send my best wishes to all mothers, mothers-to-be, and mothers in the future.
