English is important now.How do you study English?Is your way to learn English good?Let me tell you about my method to learn English.
I read English articles to study English well.You can find many unknown words and strange grammar.Don’t just look then up in the dictionary,but also try to remember them.Also,there are always some long sentences which are so long that it makes you sleepy with a kind of difficult grammar that you understand with difficulty.If you meet such a long sentence,you should copy it down besides finding out what the grammar and the words mean.If you can do this completely,you will be really good at English.
But reading is not enough.Speaking is also an important part of English.To improve you spoken English,you should watching English videos about everyday living.Listen carefully,remember what they said and finally use it!Radios are helpful for this,too.But I think talking with friend is helpless because it’s just review the old things you have learnt and maybe you won’t speak English all the time.If you really want to practice your spoken English,you should talk with your parents or foreigners and avoid talking in Chinese.
In fact,I was afraid to speak English to others in public when I was young.But because my English got better and better,I was not afraid of that any longer.Don’t be scared of making mistakes because no one will really laugh at you.If you do this,you will never be afraid to speak on the class like me.Speaking is one of the easiest things.I do well in reading and writing,too.My listening is also OK.Much practice makes me better and better in English.So you see,if you practice much,you will do well in English.
I have taken part in an English language school for 6 years.A good school which has foreign teachers who are from English-speaking countries like the US is really important to make an environment to let you speak English instead of Chinese.Because of this,you can do better and better.Join an English group now!
I hate a lot of homework although it’s a kind of practice.Much homework is bad for me I think because it will make me tired to finish all the homework at home.I just want some homework and then I can read China Daily,listen to VOA and write articles in English.I like the homework which can be finished in half an hour because it’s enough for me.
At the last,I want to say I like English.I feel great when I have written a long passage in English.I enjoy English very much.I hope you can enjoy English,too.
