What is necessary to learn English well?
Learning English requires action.You may know all the learning tips,but if you don't start doing things,you will achieve nothing.The fact is,if you want to learn to speak English well,you must change your life.Here are some examples of things you will have to do:
read a book in English for an hour every day,analyzing the grammar in sentences and looking up words in an English dictionary
listen to an audiobook or other recording in English,stopping it frequently,trying to understand what is being said,and trying to imitate the speaker's pronunciation
spend your afternoon practicing the pronunciation of the English "r" sound
carefully write an e-mail message in English,using a dictionary or a Web search every 20 seconds to make sure every word is correct,and taking 5 minutes to write one sentence
think about an English sentence you've read,wondering if it could say "a" instead of "the" in the sentence,and trying to find similar sentences on the Web to find out the answer
walk down the street and build simple English sentences in your head (talking to yourself in English about the things you see around you)
What kind of person would do all these crazy things?Only one kind.The kind of person who enjoys doing them.If you want to learn to speak English well,you're going to have to become that person.You cannot hate doing these things.Have you ever heard of a person who became successful by doing something he hated?

Nowadays,with the fast development of economy of the world,many cities become bigger and bigger and many modern cities are appearing.Thus,we face the complex problem:Urbanization.Urbanization has been a subject of heated discussion for a long time.Some people are in favor,while others are opposed.
In my opinion,urbanization benefits human beings rather than do harm to them.
Two reasons may account for my conclusion.
Firstly,urbanization enriches our life.
We can imagine what will happen without convenient traffic system,without big department stores,without KTVs and many other entertainments?To some extent,it is impossible for human beings to live in this world.Urbanization make it possible for us to enjoy our life more than before,Also,urbanization quicken the pace of science,especially in the communication field,in the early time,if we want to connect with our family members or friends,the only way we can choose is writing letters.But urbanization changed this situation,we can talk with the friends in the foreign countries with our any difficulties through the Internet,we gain whatever information we need on the internet.These conveniences are brought by the urbanization.
Secondly,urbanization also raise our country economy.
As we all know,the policy of Reform and Opening give our country a golden opportunity to develop our economy,we have a direct feeling about the dramatic increasing of our living standard,many productions that we cannot afford in the past time can be owned in today.This phenomenon proves that urbanization benefits our life basically.With the fast step of urbanization,many job opportunities are supplied in the occupation market which make many rural migrant workers get a solid work in the urban area.They also contribute to the economic development in the urban area.These prosperities are definitely brought by the urbanization.
I live in Shanghai,and it is a typical big city in China.I found that we also have many negative sides of urbanization.For instance,we can talk to the friends thousands miles away,but we don’t know our neighbours in the high-rises; many migrant workers do not enjoy the same profits and rights as the permanent unban residents and this will make their living without and insurance system.
But we don’t need to be so pessimistic of the situation at hand.It is evident that the advantages of urbanization outweigh the disadvantages.What we should do is to remain the positive side ,meanwhile to conquer the negative side.Our government will also introduce many effective policies to narrow this contradictory.So we have enough reasons to believe the situation will become better and better so that we can reach our aim ”better city,better life ” !

Once upon a time in a wedding ceremony in a church,the bridegroom was so nervous that he put the ring on the bride's wrong hand.On seeing this,the clergyman said to the bridegroom,"Youngman,the right hand is already perfect. Put the ring on her left hand!"
从前在教堂的一次婚礼上，新郎非常紧张，将戒指戴错在新娘的右手上。
见此情景，牧师便对新郎说，“小伙子，右手已经很完美了。将戒指戴在她的左手上！”
反思：右手是天赋的；戒指是人赋的。你是要天赋，还是要人赋？
The Frog Prince
青蛙王子
Many, many years ago, there lived a king. He had many beautiful daughters. And the youngest one was very lovely, and even the sun was surprised to see her when he shone on her face.
Near the king's castle lay a dark, gloomy forest. In the middle of the forest there was a fountain.
One day, the king' s daughter went into the forest when it was very hot. She sat down on the side of the cool fountain. Then she began to toss a golden ball in the air, and catch it. It was a most interesting game to her.
Once, however, the king' s daughter failed to catch the golden ball. It fell on the ground, and rolled into the water.
The princess followed it with her eyes, but soon it disappeared. The water was very deep and she could not see the bottom.
Then she cried aloud, and began to weep. Soon she heard a voice. It said, "Why are you weeping, princess? Your tears can melt even the stones!"
She looked around and saw a frog. He was stretching his thick ugly head out of the water.
"Oh, there you are, old waterpaddler," she said. "I am crying for the loss of my golden ball. It has fallen into into the fountain."
很久很久以前，有一位国王，他有很多美丽的女儿。而小女儿更是楚楚动人，连太阳照在她脸上时都会觉得惊讶。
在国王的城堡附近有一片幽暗的森林。森林中央有一座喷水池。
有一天，天气很热，国王的小女儿到森林里去。她坐在清凉的喷水池旁边。然后她开始往空中抛金球，再把它接住。对她来说，这是非常有趣的游戏。
然而，有一次国王的女儿没能将球接住。它掉在地上，然后滚进水中。
公主的眼光追随着它，不久它就消失了。水非常深，她见不到底。

"Then weep no more," said the frog. "I can get it for you. But what will you give me if I fetch your plaything?"
"Oh, I will give you anything, dear frog," she replied. "What will you want----my dresses, my pearls and jewels, or my golden crown?"
"I don't want any of them," answered the frog. "Your clothes, your pearls and your jewels, or even your golden crown, are nothing to me. I want you to love me, and let me be your companion. I'd like to sit at your table, eat from your golden plate, and drink out of your cup, and sleep in your nice bed. If you promise me all this, I will dive down into the water and bring up your pretty golden ball."
“Oh, yes," she replied. "I will promise you anything if only you bring back my ball."
But she thought to herself that a silly frog like him could not be fit to associate with mankind.
青蛙说：“不要哭了，我可以帮你拿回来。但是如果我把你的玩具找回来，你要给我什么呢？”
她回答说：“哦，我会给你任何东西，亲爱的青蛙。你要什么－－我的衣服，珍珠，珠宝还是我金色的王冠呢？”
青蛙答道：“我不要这些东西。你的衣服，珍珠，甚至于你金色的王冠对我来说，不值一文。我要你爱我，并让我做你的伴侣。我要坐在你桌子上，用你的金盘吃东西，用你的杯子喝水，并睡在你舒适的床上。如果你答应我这些，我就潜到水里去把你漂亮的金球拿上来。”
她回答说：“哦，好的。只要你把我的金球拿回来，我什么都答应你。”
但是她心想，像它那样愚笨的青蛙是不配和人类交往的。
