范文(一) My Teacher
Mrs. Wang is one of the teachers I love very much. She was my English teacher in primary school. She was in charge of our class. Having taught for thirty-five years, Mrs. Wang who was fifty-five years old then, was naturally an experienced teacher. She was very strict with us. If any student wasn't attentive in class, she would have a talk with him after class. But if anyone had difficulty with his studies, she always did what she could to help him out.
Once there was something wrong with her eyes. The doctor suggested that she should have an operation. Thinking that we were going to have the final exam soon, she decided to put off. And she worked as hard as before. I respect Mrs. Wang and I'll never forget what she did for us.

The square is filled with people of ages. Most of the elder men and women are sitting on the benches. The young children are running around, playing on the walks and on the empty bandstand. Some people are reading and others are talking to their friends.
范文(三) A Wonderful Pingpong Match
There was going to be live broadcast of the world Cup match on Channel 1 of CCTV at 8 o'clock in the evening. When I turned on TV set, the match was about to begin. The first rate pingpong player Deng Yaping would play against counterpart, Cheng Jing another first rate pingpong player. The head coach was addressing to his two students.
At the right hour, the match began. In the first two days, Deng Yaping kept changing her tactics, attacking and blocking in turn forcefully. Chen jing was quick in reaction and attacked and defended at high speed. After all, Deng Yaping is a cut above her and won the first two sets, at ease. In the third set things changed suddenly. Deng Yaping was disturbed.Chen took advantage of this and won the following sets.
Now the fifth set was the key to success. After the head coach addressed to her, Deng Yaping calmed down and attacked with overwhelming force and flashing speed and smashed Chen Jing's attacks one after another. The more she fought, the braver she was. At last she won the match and captured the gold medal. Until then did I relax myself. As a fan of Den's, I was pride of her.
Five minutes later, the Chinese Five-star Red Flag was slowly rising accompanied by the national anthem. I was much overjoyed.

范文(八) Albert Einstein, the Man
As we have ever known, Albert Einstein was one of the greatest scientists in the world, yet there was something whimsical about him.
Once, caught in downpour, he took his hat and held it under his coat. Asked why, he explained, with admirable logic, that the rain would damage the hat, but his hair would be none the worse for its wetting. This knack for going instinctively to the heart of a matter was the secret of his major scientific discoveries—this and his extraordinary feeling for beauty.
Another time, in the first year in Princeton, on Christmas Eve, some children sang carols outside his house. Having finished, they knocked on his door and explained that they were collecting money to buy Christmas presents. Einstein listened, then said, “wait for a moment.” He put on his scarf and overcoat, and took his violin from its case. Then, joining the children he accompanied their singing of “Silent Night” on his violin.
