1.It is (was) not until…that… 直到……才…….如：
It was not until yesterday that I noticed it.直到昨天我才注意到此事.
It was not until she took off her dark glasses that I realized she was a famous film star.直到她取下墨镜,我 才意识到她是一位著名影星.
2.not…until… 直到……才…….如：
Don’t leave till I come.我来了你再离开.
He didn’t come until yesterday.直到昨天他才来.
I didn’t manage to do it until you had explained how.直到你给我解释了理由,我才会做.
注：该结构中的主句动词通常是终止性动词,若为延续性动词,则可能导致含义有变化.如：
I won’t stay here till [until] Monday.我在这儿待不到星期一(即不到星期一就走).
He didn’t wait until I returned.他没等到我回来(即没等我回来他就走了).
3.Not until…did (do)… 直到……才…….即当 not until...置于句首时,其后的主句要用部分倒装的形式.如：
Not until the rain stopped did he leave the room.雨停了之后他才离开这房间.
Not until I began to work did I realize how much time I had wasted.直到我参加工作,我才意识到我曾浪费了多少时间.

强调句型：It was/is 被强调部分 + who/that+....
对于not until 的强调句，要把not until中的 until后面的部分直接拿过来。
后面的句子不用倒装了。
如果是倒装句，那么后面用采用部分倒装了

强调句式 的特点是
去掉It was …… that句子仍然成立
He went back home after the experiment not until midnight .
这句话强调的是时间状语，所以用强调句式，后面的句子顺序不变。
