应是 along,walk along the street 沿着街道行走
个人认为，没有语境的情况下，语法上来说，in和along都可以，in表示他跟他妈妈在街上散步，很随意的，没有目的性；而along指的是他们俩沿着街道在行走，有一定的方向性。
in the street是走在路上；
along the street是沿着路走，通常是路边或沿着路的方向。
首先 这道题目比较变态的 在英语里面 认为街道两边有建筑 有房子商店 所以人是走在“里面”的 而不是“上面” 你可以是along the road on the road 但是必须是 in the street!
