I disagree with that student should watch TV too much.
As we all know, with the high-speed development of the technology, media takes a great part in our daily lives. We get news, information from TV so that we can get in touch with the global issues. As meanwhile, TV becomes a convenient source of entertainment and helps us relax. However, everything will turn to negative when it becomes too much. For students, watching TV TV so much means they have to spend lots of time on it. Ignoring their school works and getting away from their peers, staying at home lonely will be the steps after that. There is no denying that it is terrible for a school kids being alone. Also, though they stay at home, these students may have little communication with their parents and the generation gap will be deeper as well.
As a result, for my point of view, student should watch TV but not too much.
