用where提问好像是要回答地点状语的如果是你的祖国是哪里,就要回答地点名了
用where提问好像比较中国式
用what，对名词提问，用where，对副词提问，应该what。
两者都对，但我觉得where会更好一些，不过现在这种问法真的很少哦。

第二句话对，因为我们会问：Where is your hometown? 你的家乡在哪里？其句型和这个句型是一样的。
